ARCHITECTURE: HARLEM BEER GARDEN FOR LEASE
Harlem Bespoke: The facade of the old Pabst's beer garden building had been restored in the past year or so on the 125th Street side and now it appears that the massive dome at the back end will be renovated also. We walked by the the 124th Street end just west of 7th Avenue and noticed a dumpster and workers on site. As far as the front end goes, 256-258 West 125th Street once had a longterm sportswear tenant that has since vacated.
A lease sign has since been posted above one of the windows out front so those who are interested in the unique space might want to inquire. This offer probably does not include the dramatic back building but the two spaces could possibly be combined in the future for the right commercial development. Check out the full history on Pabst's Harlem location in our past post: LINK
