CONSTRUCTION: THE FIRE WATCHTOWER RESTORATION
Harlem Bespoke: The Mount Morris Fire Watchtower at the top of Marcus Garvey Park was dismantled back in 2015 with the goal of restoration and now things appear to be progressing along. A Bespoke tip came in showing that signs are already up on site mentioning that the finish date will actually be by the end of summer. This uptown watchtower is the last of if its kind in the city and fireman used to be able to signal the location of blazes below with the sound of the large bell contained within. Things should be coming together pretty soon and we will try to get some more photos in the next month or so.
