Harlem Bespoke: A rare wood frame house at 26 West 127th Street is currently being demolished to make way for a residential development. The address just west of Fifth Avenue was recently used as a church building and had apparently been sold in 2017 for $1 million according to Streeteasy. Seeing that most shells in Central Harlem go for around north of $1.5 million, this is a pretty good deal for the developer even though we would have preferred an adaptive reuse project.
