Harlem Bespoke: One of the biggest fashion success stories in the past few years has been the return of Gucci and Harlem's own
Dapper Dan has factored into the luxury label's success. The collaboration store has since been set up in a brownstone on Lenox and 122nd Street but will there ever be a proper presentation uptown? New York Fashion Week has arrived once more and uptown would be a great location to make a statement for the Italian read-to-wear collection.
As fashion companies look to achieving more authenticity within their representation, we expect to see more fashion shows north of 110th Street in the near future. British designer Stella McCartney recently took note and presented at one uptown venue last year:
