Harlem Bespoke: A massive fire devastated Hamilton Heights last November at 565 West 144th Street but it appears that the building will proceed with a restoration. The disaster created unstable conditions and the roof had to be removed but the rest of prewar still stands today. Permits on the DOB site show that work on plumbing and general construction had been approved recently so everything now will be fixed up sooner than later. Hopefully the families that were left homeless can return in the next year or so. More on the story can be found in our past post: LINK
