Harlem Bespoke: An SRO building at 229 West 136th Street has recently been converted from a 13-unit layout to 8 apartments according to DOB records. Streeteasy has one of the listings and a new one-bedroom in Central Harlem by 7th Avenue is apparently going for $2,290 a month. There is not a lot of original charm within but at least a few modern amenities such as a laundry room is included: LINK
