Harlem Bespoke: We noted that construction at the former East Harlem Salvation Army site on 125th Street started up back in Spring 2017 and now everything appears to be finishing up. This corner of Third Avenue will still be part of the non-profit organization but will now be used for much needed senior housing. Just a couple of doors west, one can also see that the Bjarke Ingels designed building with affordable apartments is also making some major progress. With that said, the residential density on East 125th Street has been increasing over the years and these two developments will be bringing hundreds of units to the corridor. More on the Salvation Army can be found in our past post: LINK
