Harlem Bespoke: We were the first to report that Shake Shack would be opening on 125th Street back in April but some might wondering how far the new location has come along at this point. Construction basically started in August at the corner of 125th Street and Fifth Avenue with
signs up stating that late November 2018 will be the expected opening date. We walked by the intersection this afternoon to look within the open side door and it appears all of the demolition has been made within. Right now everything is still a raw space with dry wall and infrastructure work being installed at the moment. If of this all wraps up in the next couple of weeks, the installation of the hard furnishings usually happens quickly and the deadline will probably be met.
