Harlem Bespoke: The city replaced the old bus shelters with shiny new modern iterations in the past year or so but now many have been taped off since the start of the week. Signs on site mention that they have to go through a safety inspection and will re-open shortly. We also noticed today that some folks have torn down the tape (which can be seen as remnants clinging on the ground) and are using the shelters to wait for the bus which might not be such a good idea. Hopefully things will be resolved this week since many uptowner depend on bus service as the main source of local transportation.
