Harlem Bespoke: We have been receiving messages to our inbox mentioning that Cheri by 121st Street on Lenox appears to have shuttered and decided to walk by the eatery in search of additional information. The artistically inclined eatery in the Mount Morris Park Historic District was a sensation when it first debuted back in 2014 but things seem to be more quiet these days.
Logo window decals have been scraped off and DOB permits have also been plastered out front. Apparently everything is being gutted on first four floors of the building which means that major changes are coming about. One of the restaurant's last Instagram post on September 15th does not mention of anything about a closing but the massive construction project at hand portends otherwise.
