Harlem Bespoke: Number 188 Lenox Avenue was up for sale back in May for $3.1 million and the shell apparently has been pulled from the market as of this month according to Streeteasy. As previously mentioned, this block between 119th and 120th Street in the Mount Morris Park Historic District has some of the best architecture to be found uptown but has yet to be renovated fully. There is a commercial space with a hardware store on the lower floor but the top levels appear to have been gutted for quite some time.
According to the listing, a Certificate of Non Harassment is forthcoming which will move the renovation process along quickly once the right buyer comes around. Express trains are a short walk away and the commercial neighbors include Whole Foods and Gucci by Dapper Dan. More details can be found on Streeteasy: LINK
