Harlem Bespoke: The former
Morningside Coffee storefront on Lenox apparently has opened again a as an extension to
Callie's taqueria which serves up coffee and some Mexican food during daytime hours. Callie's on Lenox by 137th Street appears to be closed during lunch hours so this is the afternoon alternative but we would probably just recommend having the coffee to go based on our first experience with the menu. Morningside Coffee had really great homemade biscuit sandwiches which were quite unique to Central Harlem but unfortunately the specialty shop shuttered mysteriously this year.
