SHOP: CONSTRUCTION AT FIELD TRIP ON LENOX

Harlem Bespoke:  Chef Joseph Johnson is one of the most acclaimed uptown artisans and a new venture called Field Trip on Lenox Avenue appears to be making even more progress these days.  The storefront located just south of 116th Street now has plywood up on the facade after having a wine and beer license public notice posted this past August.
There appears to be new permits on the wall which reveal that there will be a total of 75 seats available at the new restaurant when all finishes up.  It is unclear if Field Trip will open up this side of year but the more democratic offering of various grain bowls of the world will surely be well received when that time comes around.  Joseph Johnson put The Cecil on the map a few years ago and Harlem is definitely ready for this next great endeavor of the star chef.    Read more about Chef JJ in our past post: LINK
