Harlem Bespoke: The coffee shop called Gene Comptons was just constructed earlier this week but everything is now being deconstructed. We found out that this was movie set at the corner of 110th Street and Lenox which would probably be used in reference to a lesser known LGBT uprising against police brutality in 1966 which occurred in the Tenderloin neighborhood of San Francisco. Gene Compton was fully replicated from old photos from the inside out but it appears that the film crew did not require a lot of time on site.
