Brotherhood Sister Sol townhouse at 512 West 143rd Street and noticed it was set for demolition. The online site of the community organization actually announced that this year was the official groundbreaking for the new facility which will be the modern one shown in the above rendering. This state of art architectural update will entail 20,000 square-foot of space solely to help local children 8-22 years of age to receive mentorship, training and advance to college. Some additional fund-raising is needed for the new facility located just west of Amsterdam and those who are interested in learning more or to help out the uptown children's organization should go to the official website:

That proposed building is really terrible. What is supposed to be the reference point for this structure. There should be an attempt to fit into the architecture of the community. Who designed this??
