Harlem Bespoke: The WA Condominiums foreclosed during the big recession about 8 years ago and now the vacant formerly new construction in Central Harlem has activity on site. A Bespoke reader sent in the above photo of workers at the entrance of the building yesterday and an online search of DOB paperwork shows that permits have all been approved for the entire development located on 7th Avenue. Amenities for the modern designs includes a swimming pool on the top floor but the address faces a large housing project across the street. In this scenario, most developers end up switching to rental units from what we have seen in the past so this might be the end goal for the WA Condos.
