ARCHITECTURE: FACADE FINNISHES AT 146 EAST 126TH
Harlem Bespoke: Starchitect Bjarke Engel's East Harlem residential building broke ground about a couple of years ago and the facade finishes along with the glass windows are now currently being installed. The main entrance at 146 East 126th Street has an angular design that tilts back and also slightly curves inwards towards the east end. There is also a part of the structure that hovers over the DMV building on the 125th Street side as can be seen in the lower photo. After all finishes up at the new development by Lexington Avenue, there will be a total of 233 apartments and 47 of those have been set aside to be affordable units. Check out the initial construction phase from 2017 in our past post: LINK
