Harlem Bespoke: Sugar Monk made the announcement this past fall that the new lounge will be taking over the former Serengeti Tea Shop which closed last year on FDB by 123rd Street. An official instagram page shows that the interior is on its way to being completed in the next week or so and an official opening date of
April 19th has already been set. When we walked by the storefront last week, everything pretty much still looked the same on the exterior but maybe some changes will be happening in the days ahead. Sugar Monk originally signed a lease on Adam Clayton Powell but for some reason arrangement did not work out:
