Jazz was born in New Orleans, but it spent a lot of time growing up in Harlem. Many of the major innovations in jazz can be traced back to the musicians, nightclubs and musical community in Harlem.  Join Director of Education Ryan Maloney for a night exploring some of the major musical and cultural innovations that put Harlem on the map. Perfect for any curious listener looking to learn more about jazz music and Harlem.
