SHOP: BANK REPLACES FORMER LENOX LOUNGE
Harlem Bespoke: The iconic Lenox Lounge had been around since the 1940s but the building on Lenox just south of 125th Street was fully demolished a couple of years back to make way for a commercial development. Bank signage has now appeared at the lower level of the aforementioned new building and this is why we can't have nice things in life. More on the demise of the jazz lounge where Billie Holiday used to sing can be found in our past post: LINK
