SHOP: NEW RESTAURANT AT FORMER BTH LOCATION
Harlem Bespoke: There used to be an old school diner at 712 West 125th Street by 12th Avenue but that was up until the 80s and a new establishment called BTH shuttered at the location a couple of years back. The facade had also been altered in modern times but apparently a new eatery has shown some interest in the historic address facing the Hudson river. Brown paper has been concealing the interior renovations for months and a public notice has just been posted for a liquor license.
Peaceful BSB Restaurant Corp has been listed on the paperwork as the name for the establishment but this is probably not the real moniker of the mysterious eatery. Dinosaur Bar-B-Que is basically next door and has had great success at being a destination spot so this new establishment could do well if the right concept is in place. Check out a cool archival photo of the diner in our past post: LINK
