the organization that still owns the corner townhouse by 147th Street appears to have some sort of renovation in mind. With that said, the $5.25 million asking is quite on the high side for a brownstone these days and it is unclear what is actually going on here since the last DOB permits posted online from April 2018 was for a full medical facility conversion. As many know by now, a methadone clinic was blocked from opening at the address when the community leaders found out what was happening
early last year. Hopefully this is just for exterior work for the building does have quite a bit of original details within that is more apropos for a residential sale:
