INTRODUCING: STOREFRONT GARDEN ON TIEMANN
Harlem Bespoke: We noticed a virtual outside garden has started to pop up just outside the closed storefront at 64 Tiemann Place and Claremont Avenue upon a recent visit. This used to be a neighborhood deli a few years ago but the cellar space had been empty for quite some time until a recent announcement detailed a forthcoming eatery. What is especially nice is the wooden decks that transforms the unexpected corner in to a green space for potted plants which makes everything look inviting even though no signage has been installed yet.
Some bluish gray paint has been added to the lower cornice of the shop located west of Broadway just below 125th Street which will be an Asian gastropub founded by two notable uptown businesses. A liquor license had been applied for recently but the name of the establishment does not appear to be confirmed at this point in time.
