Harlem Bespoke: The block on Lenox by 132nd Street has quite a bit of historic architecture intact but somehow a few of the buildings have remained in a shell state until recently. Back in March of this year, construction started up at 455-457 Lenox and now it appears some major progress has come about. We noticed while walking by this part of Central Harlem yesterday that brand new windows had been installed on both buildings and all of the interior had been drywalled on the inside. DOB paperwork from 2017 mentions that the lower floors will be office and commercial space while the top two levels will have a couple of apartments in each building. Check out what the facades looked like a few months ago in our previous post: LINK
