CONSTRUCTION: SCAFFOLDING AT MINK BUILDING

Harlem Bespoke: What is going on with the Mink Building on Amsterdam and 126th Street?  We walked by the former brewery on the eastern border of Manhattanville and noticed that some major scaffolding had been installed out front.  Since the site has never been made an official landmark, this might mean some drastic alterations might be happening so we checked out the DOB website.  It turns out just minor infrastructure alterations within and some window upgrades are being made at this point in time.  This is now the only intact industrial building on the block since the Taystee factory site was demolished a few years ago to make way for a new glassy addition to the neighborhood: LINK
