QUESTION: WHAT'S UP WITH NORTHEND FOOD HALL?

Harlem Bespoke:  Uptown's first food hall had been planned since 2017 at the storefront space on Broadway and 183rd Street but nothing really has happened since the beginning of the year.  Our last update in January revealed that the facade had finished up for Northend food hall and anchor tenants had been listed out front.  So what is going on now?

As can be seen in the above photos, hours had already been set up and there is everything from coffee, BBQ, burgers, tacos or ramen have been included in the mix but location pretty much still looks the same even months later.  An instagram account on social media has not been updated since this past April and the original debut date was set for Summer 2019 which is officially over.  Another food hall has since announced a future opening further south on West 125th Street and it is unclear now if Northend will still be the first to open uptown.  More on the anticipated new establishment can be found in our past post: LINK
