REMEMBER: STOREFRONTS AT STRIVERS ROW CIRCA 2014

Harlem Bespoke:  We had written a couple of initial posts back in 2010 about the potential of the storefronts at Striver Row on 8th Avenue by 138th Street and things are looking real sharp these days.  Everything had been boarded up for quite some time but things started to transform in a different direction just over a couple of years ago.
A developer came in to restore the entire two buildings into rental apartments by 2016 and the storefront were renovate soon after in 2017 when the plywood was removed at street level.  By early 2018, an art gallery arrived on the north end of 139th Street and something new debuted on the south end by 138th Street this past summer.   We have been taking photos of the historic neighborhood for over a decade now and have really been amazed by all of the changes that have happened.  Check out what the block looked like in 2010 in our past post: LINK
