SHOP: RENOVATIONS AT 239 LENOX AVENUE

Harlem Bespoke:  The former location of BLVD Bistro at the garden level of 239 Lenox Avenue appears to have some major work going on in the past few weeks.  We noticed workers on site for some time and the windows now have been refinished and still have the blue tape on them.  A quick look on the DOB website only reveals renovation of existing restaurant had been approved in September but BLVD had already moved to a new location by then.  Then there is the fact that this entire brownstone at the corner of 122nd Street was up for auction a couple of months ago so a lot of questions are now up in the air: LINK


UPDATE: A tip can in that mentioned one of the workers out front said an Indian eatery would be opening up soon.  Chai Wali up the boulevard did well when it was open so this newcomer should have pretty good business.
