CONSTRUCTION: FACADE FINISH AT 455 LENOX
Harlem Bespoke: The pair of abandoned brownstones at 455-457 Lenox had a plywood fence put up out front this past spring and now apparently has almost finished up. A Bespoke reader sent in the above photos of the block by 132nd Street today and reveals a brand new storefront within a fully restored building. Some of the architectural gems on this block have recently started up with major restoration work and the neglected part of the neighborhood is finally getting a much needed update. A more aesthetically pleasing presentation of brickwork provides a much cleaner finish to the exterior commercial spaces and we especially admire the neutral palette which is a lot more balanced than the previous color scheme: LINK
