BEST NEW COFFEE SHOP 2019: LUCILLE'S

Harlem Bespoke: Coffee shops are the classic local communal spaces were people get their morning brew, catch up with friends, or even double as a makeshift office so this category is quite important for any neighborhood block.  Lucille's up at Macombs Place and 150th Street gets the Best New Coffee Shop award this year for taking everything to the next level at unique triangular corner space that now has a really chic 70s vibe within the interior.  Wood paneling and hanging indoor plants mixed in with vibrant artwork never looked so current!  Those who have watched a few sitcom comedy repeats on television might just imagine they were transported back to The Regal Beagle with Jack and company.

With all that said, there still are the requisite modern updates such as an abundant amount of plugin outlets to charge up mobile phones or computers as necessary.  There is also a sense of space here were banquet seating separates other areas with smaller table allocations.  Included additionally is a large bar to sit at that serves crafted drinks at night which rounds everything out and is one of the more successful coffee-to-cocktail models we have seen uptown especially since there is an in house kitchen.   Not only is the coffee great here, but the food just might be the best for any java joint in the city when the later afternoon hours rolls around: LINK
