DWELL: 228 LENOX BROWNSTONE

Harlem Bespoke: Number 228 Lenox by 122nd Street arrived on the market in April 2018 for $5.25 million, then the fixer upper in the Mount Morris Park Historic District had gone up to $5.6 million in July but then was removed from the market by August of that year.  Now the distinct brownstone returned in October of 2019 for a drastically reduced price set at $2.725 million. The original listing mentions that this is a commercial building and that the new owner would have to convert everything to a single-family home or other layout.  There are previously reported original details intact and the new Whole Foods is just a couple of blocks north which makes the price point more reasonable for a property in this coveted landmark district that needs a bit of work.  More details can be found on Streeteasy: LINK
