Monday Night Jam Session at the
National Jazz Museum in Harlem, 58 West 129th Street, just east of Lenox. Monday Night Jam offers seasoned veterans a place to meet, perform, and network. It also presents up-and-comers with the opportunity to find mentors and learn from the originals. The jam showcases the living tradition of the music—on any given night, you could see four generations of musicians, from former members of the Count Basie band to teenage prodigies, all sharing the stage together.
