BESPOKE DIARIES: WEEKLY GROCERY STORE RUN

Harlem Bespoke: We started taking some photos to show life in the city during the unprecedented social distancing era that started up this month.  Essential store for groceries are all open but only 20 shoppers are allowed in at one time so there is usually a line out front by noon.  Our intent is to be around less people as possible during this time and we usually go out before noon when things are a bit more quiet.  Staying six feet away from other shoppers in a narrow aisle can be pretty challenging so face masks are a definite must-have even with the limited capacity within.

As the above photos shows, most stores will have six feet markers in the checkout aisle so guests can be mindful of the personal space around them.  This is all kind of new and some folks do not get it at first but soon catch on when observing other shoppers.  Flattening the curve only happens when everyone stays home and socially distance themselves in public so make sure to only go out when necessary.  Hand sanitizer is also a must have accessory and applying often in public is another best practice since the virus lingers especially on hard surfaces for at least a couple days.
