DWELL: 228 LENOX SOLD IN MARCH

Harlem Bespoke: Number 228 Lenox by 122nd Street arrived on the market in April 2018 for $5.25 million, then the fixer upper in the Mount Morris Park Historic District, then was taken off market the following year only to return with a reduced price set at $2.725 million. No records show that everything finally sold just over a week ago and $2.5 million was the closing price. The original listing mentions that this is a commercial building and that the new owner would have to convert everything to a single-family home or other layout.  As previously mentioned, there are reported original details intact and the new Whole Foods is just a couple of blocks north which makes the price point more reasonable for a property in this coveted landmark district that needs a bit of work.  More details can be found on Streeteasy: LINK
