Harlem Bespoke: One of are favorite old-school aesthetic storefronts in Central Harlem appears to be going through major renovations. United Fried Chicken at the corner of 139th and Lenox now has paper up in the window so we looked online to see if anything notable was happening. DOB filings from last month just mentioned a full interior makeover but it appears that none of the signage out front will be affected. There are not a lot of shops in the city with this sort of retro look still intact so hopefully the business owners will keep everything in place amongst all the changes.
