Harlem Bespoke: The expansion of Montefiore Park in Hamilton Heights had a planned finished date set for 2018 but the end of 2020 might just be the final deadline. We walked by the triangular public intersection just west of Broadway just north of 137th Street this past week and saw that the sidewalk fill-in was finally happening. This basically was the lower section of Hamilton Place which will now be all sidewalk connected to the original park section and will create a large plaza when completed. There will also be additional landscaping and structural elements added on to the expanded green space which can be seen in our past post:
