Harlem Bespoke: Some might remember that the original brownstone for the Brotherhood Sister Sol had designs for demolition a couple of years back and we recently walked by the address in Hamilton Heights. Apparently the former townhouse is completely gone now and a groundbreaking for the new construction has taken place at 512 West 143rd Street in Hamilton Heights some time ago. Foundation work is now all happening but the poster on the plywood mentions a complete date of July 2020 which obviously will not be happening. With that said, the nonprofit mentorship organization will probably move back a year from now if all goes to plan from what we can gather.
