DWELL: 221 WEST 137TH STREET RESTORATION

Harlem Bespoke:  The shell at 221 West 137th Street sold back in 2016 for a pretty notable closing price and now has returned to market for $3.85 million after a major gut renovation process.  This 18-foot-wide brownstone is still in the coveted single-family layout and has some major modern updates now included.

There are no original details within but the interior clean lines are all done in good taste and we especially like the modern bath.  A building next door is still pretty much a shell so might be the only wild card on the intact townhouse block just south of Strivers Row between 7th and 8th Avenue.  Restaurants, coffee shops, bars and galleries have opened up in the area recently so the selling price might just be right for this pristine Central Harlem home.   More details on the broker site: LINK
