LGBT: NEW BLACK OWNED GAY BAR IN HARLEM

Harlem Bespoke:  Lamda Lounge reportedly opened on Adam Clayton Powell Boulevard by 132nd Street this past weekend according to Time Out New York and guests can now have drinks in the backyard area.  We walked by this morning and saw that the gates were down out front but should go up form 6:00PM to 11:00PM during the week.  The new arrival at this historic intersection of Harlem  was started up by a black gay couple who wanted more options for the community and has the distinction of being the secong LGBT establishment to arrive on 7th Avenue in the past few decades.  As previously reported, Alibi Lounge opened just five blocks north back in 2016 within the landmark Strivers Row neighborhood: LINK
