Harlem Bespoke: Construction on St. Nicholas Avenue by Harlem School of the Arts appears to be going forward with a smaller scale project for a neighboring educational institution. Back in 2013, a massive development had been planned for the huge lot just south of 145th street but now it appears that
Harlem Academy will be a completely separate element. Online permits only show applications filed for this smaller endeavor and the formerly planned 11-story building appears to be out of the picture:
