NEIGHBORHOODS: NORTH OF MORNINGSIDE HEIGHTS

Harlem Bespoke:  Where does Morningside Heights end?  Some say the West Harlem neighborhood goes all the way up to 125th Street along both sides of Broadway but the official community board map has the north border at 122nd Street.  With plenty of new restaurants in the area over the past decade along with picturesque outdoor dining, many now include this area as part of the Columbia University neighborhood. This all somewhat makes sense now since Columbia has an $7 billion new campus under construction just north of 125th Street so the two neighborhoods are definitely starting to merge.  More on that new Columbia campus can be found in our past post: LINK
