Harlem Bespoke: Signs went up this week on Adam Clayton Powell Boulevard by 139th Street announcing that Ink will be arriving soon across from historic Strivers Row in Central Harlem. As can be seen with the logo, coffee appears to be the order of the day but there is actually more to the story since a familiar eatery is involved with the new endeavor.
Belle has basically expanded into the shop nextdoor to start up a day business which totally makes sense. A new
wraparound outdoor dining space has just been built and the local favorite basically does a fine dining evening business so the cafe would handle a day crowd. Commercial space is probably pretty negotiable these days and those who have the knowhow can really explore the opportunities out there. More on Belle can be found in our past post:
