SEE: THE UNDOING HARLEM LOCATIONS

Harlem Bespoke:  Those watching the new HBO series call The Undoing might noticed that Harlem is featured in quite a few scenes.  Several images of a block that looked similar to the one Luke Cage used for filming in the Mount Morris Park neighborhood immediately caught our attention and we quickly figured out the address used.  One of the key characters is an artist in El Barrio and has a studio which looked like a set we saw over a year ago on Lenox by 119th Street.

This was an instance in the show where they took liberties to make Central Harlem look like the east side but other locations like the Park Avenue and 103rd Street apartment by the train underpass tunnels are clearly spot on.  An important part of the storyline is that one of the wealthier wives lives nearby and the posh Fifth Avenue location next door to the Academy of Medicine building by 103rd Street facing Central Park brings everything together.  Those uptowner who are into mystery thrillers should tune into The Undoing and see if any other parts of the neighborhood is recognizable each week.
