Harlem Bespoke:
Construction started picking up at 655 St. Nicholas Avenue this year and now the building located a couple of blocks south of 145th Street is rising up quickly. This will be an independent school for grades 1-8 called
Harlem Academy which already has a location in Central Harlem on Fifth Avenue. According to the school's website,
90 percent of graduates eventually go to college so this could be another great education alternative for parents uptown. Check out our past post for a rendering of the school building that will start up classes sometimes next year:
