Harlem Bespoke: Number 188 Lenox was last priced at $3.1 million a couple of years ago and now has returned to the market with a much lower asking set at $1.9 million. As previously mentioned, this block between 119th and 120th Street in the Mount Morris Park Historic District has some of the best architecture to be found uptown but has yet to be renovated fully. There is commercial space with a hardware store on the lower floor but the top levels appear to have been abandoned for quite some time.
According to the listing, approved plans for a 3-family conversion are in place so starting renovations up again should not be so complicated. Express trains are a short walk away and the commercial neighbors include Whole Foods and Gucci by Dapper Dan. More details can be found on Streeteasy: LINK
