Harlem Bespoke: Color or no color? These mirror image Harlem brownstone doors went different directions but are both uniquely ornate. Victorian era builders actually did it both ways so it’s just a matter of taste. Stained glass was also quite common but this detail is usually the first to deteriorate and requires a specialist to replace or restore.
