INTRODUCING: THE LANGSTON HUGHES PLAYGROUND
Harlem Bespoke: We finally took a photo of the Langston Hughes playground sign on Adam Clayton Powell Boulevard by 130th Street that went up recently in honor of Harlem’s patron poet. Really love the symbolic colors also which are pretty unique for a city park sign. Usually the standard signage is solid green with white lettering and this might be the first to do something different in honor of the neighborhood. Another notable honorific that also went up in the neighborhood at the same was the James Baldwin Lawn at St. Nicholas Park: LINK
