DWELL: 455 WEST 144TH STREET BROWNSTONE
Harlem Bespoke: Number 455 West 144th Street arrived on the market in the middle of last summer for an asking set at $3.9 million and the single-family home in the Hamilton Heights historic district should eventually find a buyer since homes under $10 million have done well as of late. This is also hands-down one of the prettiest blocks in all of New York City and the 20-foot-wide home has a lot of original details intact within in that appear to be in really good condition. The broker site has some digital staging set up to make things more vanilla but why would anyone put in generic wood floors over the inlay marquetry that this type of brownstone is known for?
