Ponty Bistro opened back in 2014, is black owned and just happened to be closed this week for movie or television production. The restaurant confirmed as much on our Cinema Bespoke instagram account and someone also mentioned that it could possibly be a comedy. Not showing diversity in any imaging of the neighborhood is definitely a faux pas that was made like over a decade ago so maybe this will be a social commentary of sorts whether it be serious or not. Someone mentioned that film permits for the new Whoopi Goldberg Harlem comedy series had been posted in the neighborhood so this would absolutely make sense: LINK

We know Harlem inside and out so could place the location when we heard it was by Strivers Row. The architectural details around the doorway confirmed it was Ponty Bistro.
