HARLEM SERIES FILMING ON STRIVERS ROW 2022

Harlem Bespoke:  Hollywood is filming in Harlem once again this weekend over by the historic Strivers Row neighborhood.   We walked by West 138th Street between Adam Clayton and Frederick Douglass last week and saw that signs were up for the Harlem comedy series to film all day on Tuesday this week.  The uptown version of Sex and the City was renewed for a second season earlier this year and so filming will be picking up at a fast pace over the summer.  Expect a Fall or Winter 2022 debut if all goes according to schedule.

STRIVERS ROW NEWSSTAND NOW DEMOLISHED

Harlem Bespoke:  We noticed that something was missing on the corner of Adam Clayton Powell and West 138th Street because of the newly exposed bricks looked out of place at the townhouse address.  Then came the realization that the old newsstand that had been here for decades has since been demolished.
